Captain Mike holds a captains license through the United States Coast Guard and Texas Parks Wildlife Department. Captain Mike also provides both leadership and community service as a long-time member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association (CBGA) and the Port Aransas Boatmen. The CBGA supports the Driscoll Children’s Hospital and the South Texas Children’s Home. The Port Aransas Boatmen provide a scholarship fund for young people of the Texas Bend.
